American Idol winner Scotty McCreery to be feted at DHS on Monday May 30th

Although the rumors were that the top five of this season’s American Idol would be at the park on Sunday May 29th, Disney just announced that the 2011 “American Idol” winner, 17 year old Scotty McCreery, will actually be visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Monday, May 30, 2011. McCreery will be the featured attraction in a parade that begins at 10 a.m.. If past events are any indicator there will also be a short ceremony outside the theater and possibly a song from the winner (that’s been 50/50 since the attraction opened).

Magic Music Days: No Big Effect on American Idol

It’s Magic Music Days right now at Walt Disney World, which means one thing: I had high hopes for the American Idol Experience finale tonight! After all, with singers and choirs galore in the kingdom, surely great singers would be at Idol. My first thought: anyone hoping for an easier shot at the Golden Ticket should avoid the Magic Music Days season

American Idol Experience Premiere showcases Idols and future Idols

The night started off with a celebrity motorcade… Last night at the premiere of The American Idol Experience, Disney gave away the first ever ‘Dream Ticket’, which allows one lucky park guest a ‘fast pass’ to the front of the audition line for a future season of American Idol, and feted the attraction and the TV show the way only Disney can with tons of magical moments and great experiences for Idols, guests, and fans alike. …and ended with all seven previous Idol winners on stage together with their new ‘Idol Awards’ that were presented tonight (and Seacrest too)

American Idol Experience Event Today

Just a reminder that the Gala Premiere for Disney’s American Idol Experience is today. Good Morning America will be broadcasting live this morning. A 4:30pm motorcade with many celebrities ( see list ) from American Idol’s previous years and a press event make up the rest of the day.
