Klout is a measure of one’s online influence measured by Twitter and Facebook interaction. Some companies (like Starbucks or Virgin America) have begun to use Klout to determine who should or shouldn’t be getting special perks at their establishment (like a room upgrade a hotel for instance)

DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg is still promoting 3-D technology for cinemas. Installing the equipment has slowed down because of economic conditions, but he’s pushing, as reported by Associate Press writer Min Lee. Promoting the new DreamWorks 3-D animated movie “Monsters vs. Aliens,” Katzenberg told The Associated Press in an interview that it takes about $100,000 to upgrade traditional theaters with new digital projectors and 3-D equipment.

‘Bolt’ not a total dog for Disney

When you factor in overseas box office Disney’s most recent feature animation attempt Bolt is now nearing $300 million. “Bolt” also remains a winner for Disney overseas, grossing $4.2 million for the weekend in 26 territories for a cume of $171.6 million
