SeaWorld Orlando Cares For Turtle Hatchlings

Brace yourself for the cutest Caretta caretta you’ve ever seen. Aquarists at SeaWorld Orlando are providing round-the-clock care for three endangered loggerhead sea turtle hatchlings (aka the Caretta caretta) this week. Park rangers in Cape Canaveral, FL transported the reptilian refugees to SeaWorld after rough seas caused by Hurricane Bill prevented the week-old trio from trekking from their nest to the waters off the Cape Canaveral National Seashore.

It’s hard to review Pete’s Dragon without conflating it with my youthful memories of being a Disney fan. I was 7 or 8 and remember wishing that I too had a dragon like Elliot.

Fans of canceled shows “Pushing Daisies,” “Eli Stone” and “Dirty Sexy Money” get ready to set your DVRs. Disney/ABC has announced the finale air dates to burn off the remaining episodes of those shows. “Pushing Daisies” returning to the schedule as of Saturday, May 30 through Saturday, June 13 at 10:00 p.m

Screamin’ Hosts new Paradise Pier sign

The latest sign of expansion and “re-Imagineering” in California Adventure park is the new illuminated “Paradise Pier” sign on the “California Screamin’” roller coaster. After the famous Mickey Ears were completely removed the sign was onstalled overnight between Thursday and Friday, March 12 and 13

Race to Witch Mountain found its target at the box office this weekend bringing in the number one spot for Walt Disney Pictures with $25 million . This was also the second largest opening for a film with Dwayne Johnson at the lead (Scorpion King did $36 million). There’s little new competition next weekend, so Disney might strike gold a second time
