Disney Hilton has a new owner – Hilton

For nearly the last 30 years Tishman Hotels owned the Disney Hilton at Downtown Disney.  They have now sold it to Hilton Worldwide who has been operating the hotel and, which, in turn, is owned by the Blackstone Group, who has partial ownership of Universal Orlando and owns all of SeaWorld Parks. Cue It’s a Small World. Tishman will continue to own the Swan & Dolphin Hotels operated under the Starwood brand

Merlin buys Cypress Gardens. Can Legoland be far behind?

Merlin Entertainment Group, a division of Blackstone Group (owner of SeaWorld and co-owner of Universal Orlando), was just uncovered by Screamscape as the purchases of Cypress Gardens.
