I don’t know if I’ve ever explicitly stated this before, but Epcot is my favorite Disney park. And even though the EPCOT Center I remember loving as a kid bears little resemblance to the Epcot that exists today, that geodesic sphere will always have a special place in my heart. And so, I was excited to read The Epcot Explorer’s Encyclopedia – a book that’s devoted entirely to Epcot.

A few years ago the Walt Disney Company tried something new, a yearbook. It was available via special order and in limited locations in the parks. Unfortunately, while initial enthusiasm for the product was high, the actual book that was produced failed to meet expectations for both fans and Disney.

In my senior year of college I wrote several papers on my favorite poet, John Keats. As part of my studies I read a 600-page biography of the poet. One of my favorite sections of the book collected the many portraits of Keats into a glossy-paged insert in the middle of the book.
