Wonderland – The Ghost Theme Park of China revisited

Nestled outside of Beijing, China sits what was supposed to be one of the regions best theme parks – Wonderland Amusement Park. I first wrote about the Magic Kingdom Ghost Park back in August but it’s getting some attention again with a new story from Reuters . Situated on an area of around 100 acres, and 45 minutes drive from the center of Beijing, are the ruins of ‘Wonderland’

Hong Kong Disneyland Expansion Update

Youtube user Michael20183 is back with another train ride around the expansion area of Hong Kong Disneyland. Each of the three mini-lands, Grizzly Gulch, Mystic Point, and Toy Story Land, will add much needed new attractions to the smallest of the Magic Kingdom style theme parks. Looks like the Toy Story section could be opening sometime this year or early next

The Shanghai Daily posted two concept art drawings from Disney depicting the castle that is destined to be the center piece of the new theme park Disney is building outside Shanghai. We now see the interior and the outside of the ‘Storybook Castle’ that is planned for the Shanghai Disney Resort.

Beyonce Thanksgiving Night Special to air on ABC

Shanghai Disneyland Deal Signed

Although property preparation has been underway for a few months now, no official deal had been signed with the governments of China and Shanghai. That changed after the Shanghai Expo finished. A deal has now been signed for a new 8 square mile resort area with a 1.5 square mile theme park zone.
