Disney Netbooks now available for pre-order

Nearly two months ago, Disney teamed up with leading netbook manufacturer ASUS to create the Disney-branded netbook, also known as the Netpal. With an option of either a boyish “ Magic Blue ” or girlish “ Princess Pink “, the Netpal will run the standard ASUS 1 GB RAM, 160 GB hard drive, 8.9 inch screen, Windows XP, and nothing short of magic dust. Aimed for youth 8-14, one underlying feature is the ability for guardians to alter the parental controls.

The Kissimmee Convention Visitors Bureau has put together one of the more creative packages I’ve seen to encourage more travelers to visit their fair city. Kissimmee is directly adjacent to Walt Disney World and is home to the Hwy 192 strip where you can find entertainment options, dining, shopping, and hotels if you’re looking for a night away from the Mouse Trap.
