Pixie Hollow Games on Disney Channel

Saturday was the premiere of the newest entry into the Disney Fairies franchise, “Pixie Hollow Games”. This one is very different since Tinkerbell wasn’t the main character…actually, she probably only had 4 lines. Rosetta takes a starring role (This time being voiced by Megan Hilty, Broadway and soon to be TV Star) accompanied by new fairy Chloe (Voiced by Brenda Song, London Tipton of the two versions of Suite Life on the Disney Channel).

Lightning Strike at Discovery Cove sends several to Hospital

Local news reports that 5 cast members and 3 guests were taken to the hospital after a lightning strike at SeaWorld Orlando’s Discovery Cove. Apparently the strike was near the Adventure Photo cabana, which is close to the front of the park, and the Laguna Grill, which is the main restaurant and located near by. Thankfully, none of the injuries are life-threatening.

“Lemonade Mouth 2″ in Development for Disney Channel

Lemonade Mouth is, as John put it in an older post , “the latest blockbuster from the Disney Channel Original Movie franchise formula.” No surprise that Disney would want to capitalize on the success of the film and turn it into a franchise. According to Variety , Disney has greenlit a sequel. Also announced, a movie channel based off of the series “Shake it Up.” This makes me think that it won’t be long before we hear about a Lemonade Mouth tour or in-park show, and probably see a decent amount of merchandise
