Feld Entertainment, the group responsible for Disney Live!, Disney On Ice, and Ringling Bros and Barnum Bailey Circus will be bringing a touring stage show featuring the gang from the popular show to life.

That post about Disney Princesses done Steampunk style reminded me of a photo I snapped the evening of April 2nd. That was the night that the Central Florida Steampunk Association set upon Downtown Disney in Orlando, Fl to show off their amazing costumes and take a few pictures posted in front of the Adventurer’s Club. If right now you’re saying to yourself, that looks like all sorts of fun, then you’ll be happy to know they have a fun and active Facebook group you can join.

Glee Star Chris Colfer makes deal with Disney Channel

Part of Chris Colfer’s appeal as Kurt Hummel on Glee is that even when he’s down, his sense of joy about just being alive shines through. When I saw his photo at Disneyland hanging out with Pinocchio, I wasn’t sure if it was that, or if Colfer was a genuine Disney fan. It appears to be latter.

If there is one thing Portland, OR has become known for these days, it’s the diverse music scene that keeps 20 and 30 somethings moving there despite the lack of available jobs. The Oregonian has a look at two of those musicians who were discovered by Disney producers via their blog and then hired to write the music for the new Disney Jr show “Jake and the Never Land Pirates.” “The show’s creator, Bobs Gannaway, he just wanted good music to listen to while he was writing the pilot,” said Hoskins, 37. Gannaway typed “pirate music for kids” into a web search engine and found his way to Captain Bogg & Salty, listening to their songs while working on the script
