Disney Cruise Line cancels December 2012 West Coast Cruises

I’ve been hearing about some pretty amazing cast member discounts on Disney Cruise Line vacations departing from Los Angeles. Apparently they’ve been having trouble filling the ships and now that softness in the market has resulted in DCL rethinking their west coast strategy a bit. Guests who had booked 7-day cruises leaving from Los Angeles in December 9, 16, 23 and 30 next year have been told to rebook for an earlier cruise.

Disney Fantasy to debut new Stage Show

The entertainment lineup for the fourth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the Disney Fantasy, has been revealed. We learned earlier that a version of the Aladdin musical from California Adventure would come to the Disney Fantasy. Now we are told that a brand new stage show called ‘Wishes’ looks to take Disney ship board productions to new heights.

The Muppets become Enchanted Art aboard the Disney Fantasy Cruise Line

Disney Cruise Line just announced that The Muppets will make their debut on Disney Cruise Line in a new adventure game aboard the Disney Fantasy, the new Disney ship setting sail in March 2012. The adventure game will leverage the ship wide system of interactive art known as ‘Enchanted Art.’ Here’s a clip of three such installations filmed aboard the Disney Dream in January 2011. Throughout the Disney Fantasy, guests will discover creative and whimsical technical innovations – whether it’s mealtime, playtime or bedtime.
