It’s been 12 years since the last big screen adventure that stared The Muppets. And there was a good reason for that, the films were creative and box office disappointments. Disney’s challenge, since taking over the brand, has been to find a way to recapture the old magic and bring the art form and unique brand of humor that is The Muppets to a new generation

Mickey Welcomes NASA Astronauts to The Disney Studios for Special Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Screening

Walt Disney’s fascination with outer space has been evident since the 1955 Disneyland episode “Man In Space” and the X1 attraction at Disneyland. So it’s nice to see Disney keep up the tradition with a special space themed Mickey Mouse Clubhouse special

“Old Spice Guy” lands a recurring role on ABC’s Charlie’s Angels

Isaiah Mustafa, better known as the “Old Spice Guy” has been announced as a recurring member of the upcoming ABC “Charlie’s Angels” reboot. Mustafa will appear as the former fiancé of angel Kate Prince (played by Annie Ilonzeh.) His role, Ray Goodson, is a police detective who has a run in or two with the net batch of angels (via TVLine .) Matterhorn Movie

If you’ve been reading The Disney Blog for a while, then you might remember that one of the attractions I feel a close attraction to is The Matterhorn in Disneyland. It was the first attraction my grandfather Vic Greene was show producer on while at Imagineering. My mom remembers him in the dining room with others from work trying to figure out how the queue switch backs worked (there’s an optical illusion).
