EPCOT has recently been rolling out some world showcase country specific merchandise, most specifically mickey ear hats and t-shirts. They also have a great tradition of a new EPCOT Food & Wine Festival t-shirt every year. But this is the first pair of shirts related to food and drink I’ve seen that’s not part of the Food & Wine Festival.

For those who want to know more about John Carter (of Mars) before it hits the big screen (and IMAX ) in March, it sometimes pays to keep an eye on marketing in foreign markets, where audiences expect to see more about the story before they decide to go see a film or not. Case in point is this new trailer for John Carter that aired in Japan

One of the favorite stories my father likes to tell about my childhood relates to Winnie the Pooh. When I was young I loved that silly old bear and watched all of my relevant VHS tapes diligently.

Disneyland Paris has always been the most beautiful of the Magic Kingdom parks which leaves us U.S. theme park based fans jealous. The number one item that turns us green with envy is the dragon lair under Sleeping Beauty Castle.

I’ve been hearing about some pretty amazing cast member discounts on Disney Cruise Line vacations departing from Los Angeles. Apparently they’ve been having trouble filling the ships and now that softness in the market has resulted in DCL rethinking their west coast strategy a bit. Guests who had booked 7-day cruises leaving from Los Angeles in December 9, 16, 23 and 30 next year have been told to rebook for an earlier cruise.

Review: War Horse is Traditional, Sentimental

“I, Albert Narracott, do solemnly swear that we shall be together again.” War Horse easily ranks as one of my most anticipated films this year. Since reading the book by Michael Morpurgo back in February, I looked forward to seeing Steven Spielberg’s big screen treatment of the WWI-era story. Performances by the largely unknown cast are overly dramatic at times, reminding me of stage acting or the earlier days of cinema.
