For the last couple weeks, I’ve been hinting of an exciting new project. Behind the scenes I’ve been working to get everything show ready and now I’m ready to draw back the curtain. “Dispatch from Disneyland: The Fireworks Spot and Other Tales” is a collection of short stories, essays, and rare trivia written in and about my favorite place on earth – Disneyland.

Toy Story LEGO Minifigs debut at SDCC

My son has finally reached the age where he’s playing regularly with LEGO blocks. Just in time too, as LEGO is now coming out with a line of Toy Story Mini Figures (aka MiniFigs) that look absolutely amazing.

NFFC Fall Convention moved to December

First, congratulations on NFFC on their new name. As indicated in the press release below, they are in the process of changing to ‘Disneyana Fan Club’ with the full approval of The Walt Disney Company.

First, congratulations on NFFC on their new name. I think that says something about the way NFFC has been run the last few years and how it’s the best club out there for Disneyana collectors and fans

John Stamos & Tina Fey Invade the Magic Kingdom

Had you happened to be wandering the Magic Kingdom on Monday or watching a charity event at Club Rix at Coronado Springs, you might have had a celebrity moment with Tina Fey or John Stamos (a big Disney fan and collector). If not, you can see them below sharing a royal moment with Disney princesses Belle, Cinderella and Snow White inside Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom. The two stars, traveling separately with their families, happened to be visiting the Walt Disney World theme park on the same day.
