How John Lasseter spends his day, yes, you should be jealous

A Day In The Life of John Lasseter is a 25 minute documentary looking at, you guessed it, a day in the life of Pixar’s animation pioneer and head cheerleader John Lasseter. He sets a long day for himself with much of the day from 5:30AM to 11PM scheduled in 15 minute chunks. He also shows off his Hawaiian shirt collection, something he and I have in common (although his hundreds of shirts outweigh my dozens)

SeaWorld Pictures Presents Turtle: The Incredible Journey debuts in Orlando

Friday morning more than 150 kids from local Boys and Girls Clubs attended a private premiere of SeaWorld’s new movie, “Turtle: The Incredible Journey.” The 3D debut was held at Pointe Orlando on International Drive. Original 1955 Disneyland Railroad Cars Reunited in San Luis Obispo

The Disney History Institute is out with their first documentary and it will make Disneyland Railroad fans weep. The first part of the video reveals 1955 Disneyland in gorgeous full color and includes a trip around the park on the Railroad featuring footage I’d never seen before.

Turtle: The Incredible Journey – SeaWorld’s First Film will Premier in Orlando

When SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment was cleaved from the In-Bev/Anheuser-Busch mothership they immediately realized they could no longer rely on ‘Free Beer’ for their main brand identity. They would have to focus on Conservation. Instead of counting on free beer for word of mouth, they’ve adopted a formula that has been successful for their theme park competitors — integrate movies, tv, and other media into the brand

Earlier this week, I had the chance to take in Disneynature’s latest “True Life Adventure”, African Cats , which opens on the big screen tomorrow. This film shows the lives of these two fascinating species—lion and cheetah—and the majestic place where they live in breathtaking, nearly-epic fashion.
