How should Universal Maximize Harry Potter Potential

A few years ago you could fire a cannon down any pathway in Islands of Adventure and have little risk of hitting a soul. But a big change swept into the park and with it a ton more visitors, all opening their wallets to take home a little bit of the magical world they spent their childhood exploring in books and movies. Disney’s Stand-Alone Hotels On Hold or Over?

Jason Garcia at the Orlando Sentinel has bit more background on Disney’s decision to cancel the National Harbor hotel. Disney claims that DVC was not going to be a part of the hotel and that Aulani’s troubled start had nothing to do with it. analysts say the decision to scrap the Washington project also reflects just how challenging it could be for Disney to sustain standalone hotels, which, after all, can’t bank on theme-park visitors to drive occupancy

Youtube user michael20183 is back with more video from the Hong Kong Disneyland expansion. They’re adding three mini-lands and work is nearing completion on one of them: Also, below the jump video of the RC Racer attraction doing testing: Looks like a standard amusement park attraction with a Disney overlay. Sort of the modern version of the Teacups I guess.
