Ilene Woods, voice of Cinderella, has died at 81

Ilene Woods, the voice of Disney’s Cinderella and a Disney Legend, has died at age 81. Woods said working with Walt Disney on Cinderella was closest she has ever been to true genius

Ilene Woods, the voice of Disney’s Cinderella and a Disney Legend, has died at age 81. Woods said working with Walt Disney on Cinderella was closest she has ever been to true genius. When asked what was the most rewarding part of working on Cinderella, Woods answered “knowing how timeless it is and that even after I’m gone to know my voice will be heard.” Before she was the voice of Cinderella, Ilene Woods was known for her singing voice.

NFFC Fall Convention moved to December

First, congratulations on NFFC on their new name. As indicated in the press release below, they are in the process of changing to ‘Disneyana Fan Club’ with the full approval of The Walt Disney Company. I think that says something about the way NFFC has been run the last few years and how it’s the best club out there for Disneyana collectors and fans

D23, Disney’s New Membership Club

I was just sent the two photos below of what appears to be membership pins for a new merchandise club for Disney fans called D23. ( WDW News Today is running the same photos so I hope they’re real.) We still don’t have many details about what D23 will offer. Rumors include an enrollment fee, a yearly convention, exclusive merchandise, and an online community
