They’re adding three mini-lands and work is nearing completion on one of them: Also, below the jump video of the RC Racer attraction doing testing: Looks like a standard amusement park attraction with a Disney overlay. Hong Kong Disneyland Construction Updates

California Adventure and the Magic Kingdom aren’t the only two Disney theme parks to be getting a major expansion, Hong Kong Disneyland has been working hard on adding three new mini-lands. Toy Story is closest to completion. Grizzly Trail and Mystic Point both have a way to go.

20 Million Guests visit Hong Kong Disneyland in First 5 Years

Hong Kong Disneyland announced, as of their 5th Anniversary this last week, that they had received just under 20 million day guests to the Magic Kingdom styled theme park. Approximately 40 percent, or 8 million, of those were from mainland China

Disney brand takes over Chinese Ice Festival

I had seen pictures of the Disney themed Harbin Ice Lantern Festival in China. But I didn’t realize that it was part of a legitimate licensing effort of the Walt Disney Company. What is perhaps the world’s most famous ice festival has become another of the world’s Disney theme parks, with a Disney licensing company taking over operations from the local Communist government
