Survivor Reunion visits Discovery Cove

Former participants and winners from Survivor, Amazing Race, and Big Brother assemble at SeaWorld’s Discovery Cove A large group of past winners, heroes and villains of Survivor got together at Discovery Cove in Orlando for a day of outwitting, outplaying, outlasting and out-and-out relaxing. Discovery Cove focuses on providing the type of memories you can only get by up close and personal visits with marine life and other animals

The CalArts Story

Patricia Zohn, author of the recent Vanity Fair profile of Disney’s Ink & Paint women, has dug up another gem . This video produced by the Walt Disney Studios to promote CalArts has rarely been seen. CalArts, of course, was given a big financial and creative push by Walt Disney.

Disney Dream nears completion

Hard to believe that the next ship in the Disney Cruise Line, the Disney Dream, is just 6 months away from completion and its maiden voyage. Here’s a short video showing the progress and some concept art of what things will look like when they’re finished. You can also keep track of the progress via the Meyer Werft web cam .

Disneyland Paris Bastille Day Fireworks

Bastille Day is essentially the French equivalent of Independence Day in the US, at least as far as fireworks displays go. There is definitely a French style to this show. Many people don’t know that Walt Disney Imagineering is one of the leaders in innovation when it comes to fireworks

Phineas and Ferb strike gold, and you can too

It’s a big year for Disney Channel’s hit animated TV show Phineas & Ferb. There’s a rumor that a new game that takes the Kim Possible adventure at EPCOT and changes it to Perry the Platypus at DCA. A new Phineas and Ferb Christmas DVD was just announced and there’s a ton of great new P&F stuff on Disney.com Disney.com is celebrating summer this year with all things Phineas and Ferb
