Legoland Florida announces October 15th, 2011 Grand Opening Date

General manager Adrian Jones poses with a map of Legoland FL LEGOLAND Florida just announced that its official opening date will be Saturday, October 15, 2011. Park officials revealed the date as early as possible to help families already planning vacations in the fall. The park has also partnered with many local hotels for package and transportation deals

My son has finally reached the age where he’s playing regularly with LEGO blocks. Just in time too, as LEGO is now coming out with a line of Toy Story Mini Figures (aka MiniFigs) that look absolutely amazing.

Disney and LEGO announce strategic partnership

Rumors that LEGO would soon start producing a few Disney themed lines recently made their way around the internet. Turns out they’re true. The LEGO Group and Disney Consumer Products today announced a multi-year licensing agreement that gives the LEGO Group access to an extensive portfolio of renowned Disney and Disney Pixar properties.
