The Muppets is One of Year’s Best

At one point in the writing process, I considered putting this review to song—that’s how much I enjoyed The Muppets , opening in theatres Wednesday. It’s the best comedy of the year.

Hoop Dee Doo Revue Rewritten Due to Copyright Claim

It’s a long and sordid story, but the crux of the matter is the original Hoop Dee Doo Revue featured a song based on a famous Perry Como polka (here it here ). Alas, all these years later the owners of the copyright on that song demanded Disney pay up, or stop using the song
