Disneyland has just released their latest video in the “Every Role a Starring Role” look at backstage and how the magic gets made. Good stuff, exactly what I want from the parks… of course I want more. This video that features maintaining Pirates of the Caribbean is too short for my tastes.

Pirates 4: Finds additional treasure box office, #1 again internationally

Update : The figures from The Hollywood Reporter appear to be international numbers. Domestically the box office was only $39 million which is only good for 3rd place

Pirates Of The Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides Rules Box Office

Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides hoisted sail to the top spot at the box office this weekend earning $90 million in domestic sales. Add that to an additional $256.3 million overseas and you get $346.4 million worldwide. That’s the fourth largest worldwide opening weekend flick of all time.

Kermit The Frog Covers Pirates World Premiere

I was going to do this big write up on the Pirates Of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides World Premiere Red Carpet event, but my invitation must have gotten lost in the mail. I’m sure Disney will get it right next time. Luckily Disney has made available their own red carpet reporter and let me tell you, he’s even better than that Ryan Seacrest guy.

With most of the cast from the first three Pirates Of The Caribbean films left on the shore for the fourth movie it goes without saying that Johnny Depp will have to bring his very best Captain Jack Sparrow to the game in order for the film to succeed. So it is a good sign that the first clip released from the movie features just that: May 20th is rapidly approaching along with the gala premier at Disneyland this Saturday May 7th
