I hadn’t realized the Disney Princess craze went just this far, but apparently it has, with the Disney Princess Royal Court. At first glance the phrase is just a title under which Disney’s many princesses fall.

Rapunzel officially crowned 10th Disney Princess

What a magical afternoon in London! Rapunzel was officially welcomed into the Disney Princess Court when she was crowned earlier today at Kensington Palace. Rapunzel’s Royal Celebration brought together all the Disney princesses, little princesses from around the world, and a few surprise celebrity guests.

Rapunzel in front of Tower Bridge On October 2nd, Rapunzel will be welcomed into the Disney Princess Court at Kensington Palace in London. Disney is offering a contest called “Your Princess Moment – The Story Begins With You.” Fans age 12 and under are invited to submit a 45-second video singing, dressing up, or dancing inspired by their favorite Disney Princess.

I am very seldom disappointed by Disney walk-around characters at the meet and greets. They do such a good job maintaining character, handling the little challenges that come with interacting with all sorts of guests, and enduring extremes of heat and humidity often while wearing costumes that are made for much cooler climates
