Roger Rabbit getting sequel after all?

So, I’m hanging with Bruce Smith at the Magic Kingdom the other day (how many times will I ever be able to open a story with that line?) and I totally wanted to ask him about a “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?” sequel, since he worked on the original. But when time came for the official interview, I forgot.

Disney and Dreamworks? A Match Made in Heaven

Nikki Finke reported it first, then the NY Times confirmed the news … Dreamworks SKG  (the film and tv, but not the animation, division) has ended negotiations to partner with Universal Studios and instead is heading just a bit further down the concrete banks of the LA river to Walt Disney Studios. Plenty of rumors are swirling

Boy severely injured in 2000 on Roger Rabbit Cartoon Spin at Disneyland dies

The boy who was severely injured in 2000 on Roger Rabbit Cartoon Spin at Disneyland has died. At this point it is unclear if there is any direct correlation, but the child suffered severe brain damage from the accident. Everyone at The Disney Blog sends our condolences to his family.
