Mandy Moore models Rapunzel Singing Doll at Disney Store

Today’s celebrity sighting is singer/actress Mandy Moore, who voices Rapunzel in Disney’s Tangled, visiting the new Disney Store in Times Square to celebrate the release of the Rapunzel Disney Store Singing Doll. The doll features Moore’s a cappella voice performing “When Will My Life Begin,” Rapunzel’s signature song from the film

Don’t bury Fairy Tales at Disney just yet

Yesterday the LA Times had a front page story that reported Disney Animation is closing the book on fairy tales . I immediately thought that this was either an over-reaction by the reporter or a purposeful statement by Disney to set expectations on Tangled, or both

Klout is a measure of one’s online influence measured by Twitter and Facebook interaction. Some companies (like Starbucks or Virgin America) have begun to use Klout to determine who should or shouldn’t be getting special perks at their establishment (like a room upgrade a hotel for instance)

Tangled – Introducing “Maximus” the horse

Meet Sampson At first glance the white horse in Tangled looks like the same white horse that Disney animation puts into every Princess film. He’s the comic relief, the sidekick, the trusty steed. It’s so cliche that Shrek spoofed the idea by putting Donkey in their film.
