Polar Plunge for Special Olympics at Aquatica January 21st

SeaWorld Orlando’s Aquatica is usually warm and tropical, but for one day only they’re chilling down their wave pool so the brave of heart can experience the “thrill of the chill” by plunging into cold water, while supporting a great cause! Supporters of Special Olympics Florida can join the 3rd Annual “Polar Plunge,” which will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Aquatica from 10 a.m.

Disney Cast Members contribute to “It Gets Better” for The Trevor Project

A moving new video that includes a broad spectrum of Disney employees wants the bullied, oppressed, gay, queer, questioning or otherwise harassed youth of today to know that it does indeed get better. This video is part of The Trevor Project which provides crisis intervention to LGBTQ youth to help prevent suicide.

The Crazy Origins of Pinocchio

“Pinocchio” started its life as an 100-some paged 1883 Italian novella by Carlo Collodi. Walt Disney was introduced to the story by one of his staff during production on “Snow White,” and he loved it so much he made it his next film.
