I recently had the pleasure of sitting in on a virtual roundtable interview with directors, Roger Allers and Rob Minkoff from Disney’s animated feature The Lion King. In the talk they discussed the recent conversion to 3-D, how it impacted the film, it’s successful return to the box office, along with general questions about the making of the film.

The Annie Awards are to animation as the Emmys are to TV. But the last few years of awards have come off as slightly biased with the Annies not aligning with other industry awards due to irregularities in voting procedure (Dreamworks was allowed to essentially buy votes by paying for its employees to be members).

Become a fan on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/WinniethePooh Below the jump you’ll find a short, but cute, clip from the movie: Walt Disney Animation Studios returns to the Hundred Acre Wood with “Winnie the Pooh,” the first big-screen Pooh adventure from Disney animation in more than 35 years.
