The stars have been making their way to Walt Disney World for Thanksgiving.

Maria Bello, Actor and Activist, visits EPCOT

Maria Bello, who plays fedora-wearing Detective Jane Timoney on NBC’s crime drama “Prime Suspect,” is also co-founder of “We Advance” a non-profit dedicated to advancing the well-being of women throughout Haiti. She’s pictured here in front of the holiday tree at EPCOT with “Duffy the Disney Bear.” I’m a big fan of Bello’s work on “Prime Suspect,” but apparently I’m in the minority as rumor is the show will shortly be canceled

Walt Disney World Update – Part 2 of 3

Continuing our stroll through Walt Disney World… Part one had a bunch of Fantasyland Expansion photos, let’s start with a few more: A lot of rock work is still underway, but those trees you see in the foreground are newly planted. They’ve also been doing some other landscaping, which is behind the wall, so you can’t see it. On the left you can see that more progress has been made on Belle’s cottage

First Tree Planted in Fantasyland Expansion

The first major tree was added to the Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland Expansion earlier this week. It’s the first of many as the whole area is supposed to have a forested feel. Here’s a photo shared by Walt Disney’s Imagineers.

Holiday Version of “The Magic, The Memories, and You” Wows at Disney World

The castle projection show, The Magic, The Memories, and You! has been updated to include a Christmas segment. During the holiday segment, Cinderella Castle is seen to change into various holiday themes. This includes the Candy Cane theme above, a ginger bread house theme: and a birthday cake theme… …that’s nearly identical to the much debated 25th Anniversary Cake One thing I was worried about was how the projection show would work with the holiday lights hanging on it, but you don’t even notice them at all.

HGTV At EPCOT Food & Wine Festival

This is the second year Disney has invited HGTV show hosts and experts to speak at the Food & Wine Festival. From the feedback I’ve heard, these sessions are a great addition to the festival, even if they’re not exactly on topic
